Description This shot won a Daily Deviation on 1/28/11 ([link] ), and Photo of the Day on 1/7/11 at OneDailyShot.com .
Thank you so much to those of you who support me and help get my name out there more!!!

Horseshoe Bend is just west of Page, AZ. It's a crazy spot where the Colorado River forms a horseshoe shape and makes this canyon before opening up into the Grand Canyon. My Induro tripod was about 8 inches from the edge. I rented a Canon 10-22 lens for my trip for this shot specifically and I'm glad I did. This shot requires a REALLY wide angle to get everything. I now own this lens, because it's awesome on a crop body like my Canon t2i. Enjoy

A mounted print of this shot can be purchased at my Etsy store for only $20 - [link]

Always a pleasure with this type of natural wonder and excellency in photography.
The only downside is that one always wishes they were larger, such is the feeling of freedom and elation generated...

This is a great picture, and very similar to one by Peter Lik. When your pictures remind someone of his, you know you're good.
