Description
This is one of my all time fav DC characters, Jack Knight, the Starman.He's the second son of the original Starman and the seventh (yes, #7th) hero to take the name.

Oh, it can happen. Just keep doing what you're doing. Hell, build your portfolio, take a look at their guide lines and make friendly at their convention booth. Yeah, you might have to actually go out and show them some printed material because I doubt they go for emailed submissions like IMAGE COMICS.
I can't seem to find their bloody guidelines.

Oh man, that's awesome! Geez.... Growing up, I was never the most comfortable or richest kid, so I got comics so sporadically that I have read hundreds of thousands by now, but not in any particular order, so I couldn't tell you what's what in the universe (marvel or DC), but I DO remember that guy and I think that's just awesome. I totally didn't realize that was 7th hah!

Yep. Good old #7. His father Ted was #1, believe it or not but Bruce Wayne was Starman#2 for a bit in pre-crisis continuity(although post-crisis it probably never existed), Dr. Mid-Nite was Starman for one year in 1951, Mikaal Tomas (an alien) was the 1970's Starman, there was an alien prince, Prince Gavyn who went by the name Starman during the 80's, Will Payton was Starman during the late 80's until he died fighting Eclipso, Jack's big brother, David was Starman until he was murdered and then Jack took over. When Jack retired he gave his cosmic rod to Courtney Whitmore, the second Star Spangled Kid who then changed her name to Stargirl. The current Starman is Starboy from the Legion of Super Heroes who's now in the present with the Justice Society of America.
