For the benefit of my non-American readers: Bob Barker, the recently-retired host of the U.S. game show "The Price Is Right," was known for signing off every episode by saying: "This is Bob Barker reminding you to help control the pet population: have your pets spayed or neutered."This will probably never wind up on the site. By the time I get around to this strip, Barker's retirement will be old news. So enjoy it! ^^

The solution to controlling the pet population is to control your pet, not give away the responsibility by mutilating your pet... as if he/she were merely a possession. I never liked Bob Barker because of his slogan either.
