Poppy soon got the answer to her little query.
The coat was the current pet mascot of a group of gros, quickly forming together for the contest. Ceasing the moment, Poppy instantly inserted herself into their conversation and asked to join. The others were not expecting this bright yellow child to pop out of nowhere, but accepted her. Quickly the gave her their uniform for their group; a purple bandana with white speckles, a white star and a pair of wings. Poppy was a bit saddened that her normal bow would need to be discarded for the event, but knew it was merely temporary. She quickly replaced her bow with the bandanna, excited for the adventure that awaited them.
However there was still a bit of an issue. The adult of their group, Mr. Saint, seemed a bit distant from the others. lykos and Obi said that it took a ton of convincing to get him to join the group. Now... he seemed a bit reluctant to join in with their uniforms. He would politely decline, stating that this event was for them, that he was just watching. Poppy saw this as a challenge. Taking the final bandana she approached Saint.
"But mister! You are part of our team too! We want everyone to have fun, and that includes you too." She bestowed the bandanna to him. Saint seems to have finally broken down to all the cuteness around him. He finally accepted the offering and joined the team in style.
