Description
When Kaipai was little and carefree, he spent a lot of time doing work on his parent's farm. In his free time he would eat, read, and nap.When Kaipai was abducted and became a cooperate, he spent a lot of time training, decoding, spying, and kidnapping. (Kidnapping is an effective way of raising loyal recruits for the Cooperates.)
Nowadays, Kaipai is back to the rebel side... although rumor has it he's still a Cooperate, he seems pretty trustworthy.
This took three hours to do! oAo So long!
I thank Clamp because of their amazing art compilation book I have been studying... I got inspired by all the flying woodchips and torn cloth... I just HAD to try it!~ XD

Maybe to us... that forest is kind of looked at as the place for the rednecks and farmers of society though. They're not a very well respected area... due to most of the Goji population lacking intelligence, literacy, scientific strength... Kai had rare parents. XD

Well, I'm considering dropping the white off their faces... his chest white fluff is still there! Just on the left he's covering it with his knees and his book, and on the right it's mostly covered by the baby, but still visible. XD

Awesome art!!! There is the old Kaipai and the new one. I like the details on his cape, like its ripped, and the "Dark" side of his eyes and look. Keep up the good work!! Is it photoshop 7.0 or 9?

oh wow~! The texture and detail in the first one is unrealistic! Sticky that book really does help! You are really an amazing artist! I wish I was as good as you~! I really love the hat, the pose, the shade of the tree everything!
As for the second one, the face disturbs me a bit, something doesn't seem quite right, but the rest oh wow! So much detail! The woodchips and torn cape really are good! I wonder who Kai is running from?

The second one's face was purposely made like that~ I made his pupils very dilated and didn't shade the eyes to give him that creepy strictness... and you may not be used to the shape of the head / loss of white muzzle... so he looks a lil different. XD I really like how the sky turned out, though.
Kaipai's probably running from the angry villagers.... XD
