Akua...doesnt...have any independent content oh heck ill need to fix that

1. Akua catches sleazy little Jinx using the elementary school's printing press for... "duplicating packets for advice." She respects the grind, but come on, at least do it somewhere more secretive.

When these two first met, it was always more of a game of cat and mouse. Akua was the class president and was very good at it, despite her zebra heritage making everyone a bit unwilling to listen to her. Jinx was never one of those ponies. She had a lot of people she made into enemies, and could turn the whole school against someone in an instant. She was the true class president, really, and yet she had no beef with Akua, the one who technically had power. Well, as much power as a 5th grader could. Turns out Jinx really respected the zebracorn, and took a liking to her authorative and insightful voice during class meetings, as well as the charm she possessed. She sought a great ally in Akua, but she thought their morals wouldn't match up.

She totally thought wrong. Akua was down to do some dirty things for the greater good... unfortunately printing out the answer keys for tests was not one of them, and she was definitely going to tell, but there were certainly other things they could do together after school.

2. Akua and High Jinx are both innovative and entrepreneurs in their respective fields. The zebracorn is breaking through Canterlot with a new line of clothes showing tribal pride for her roots, and clothes for all creatures unrepresented in Equestrian society. They spoke so much of uniting the inhabitants of the land, and yet there was nothign to wear to show just that. Time to get to work!

Meanwhile, High Jinx is digging through the grime of Canterlot society, which incidentally started with when Akua told her that Sassy Saddles was her mother, but had gone off to marry Blueblood. She had heard many other tales and rumors float around Ponyville about the racist, money hungry beast that was Canterlot...and she sought to slay it. It's partially for the greater good, partially because having dirt in Canterlot is literally the equivalent of having gold (those horses will pay pounds of hush money!), and partially because she wants to see the baffled and horrified faces of rich bastard cheats who have lived off the unfortunate from way too long crumble beneath her gross little untrimmed hooves. It would be such a magnificent show, quite the story! Even though she likes to exaggerate and lie, some of the best stories are ones that are too bad to be true!

Together, these two have symbiotic relationship of girls nights and plotting. Akua will put out her new line of designer clothes, Jinx will advertise it whatever newspaper she's writing for that week, it'll get attention, Akua will be caught by the eye of some interested designer, she gets into the Canterlot system and finds cracks that need to be fixed. She and Jinx work on those cracks, and bust them wide open. Or so they try. They often fail, because Akua is just "lucky to be there" in Canterlot, and High Jinx is an unkempt, nosy good-for-nothing who's been kicked off of more properties than there are ponies for her "nonsense." No one ever took them seriously, being mixes and all, among other things... and thats exactly why their mission means so much to them. Down with Canterlot!

3. I wasn't sure if this was unrelated or not, but I put it here anyway. Because, well... Sassy Saddles is Akua's biological mom who left her when she was a baby. She went to marry Blueblood. This means she and Pearly White are...some....kind of step sibling situation. Akua and Jinx hit up Pearly's house every so often to try and demand Blueblood's proof of tax payments every now and then, and it's not uncommon for his bastard son to be there.

While Akua doesn't go around telling anyone that she's Sassy Saddles' daughter, Pearly can see the resemblance clear as day. He can also see the tension erupt when Sassy decides to answer the door instead. This absolutely disgusts him that someone as gorgeous and reliable as Sassy Saddles at some point stooped so low as to breed with a zebra of all things, spilling perfectly rich blood into a puddle of mud. He despises the sight of Akua every time he sees her, and actively tries to block her business opportunities if he feels like it, since Sassy IS his mom and Pearly has a way of getting what he wants out of her.

However, he can't help but be interested in Akua, in a kind of morbid way. To live your life knowing you're some gross halfbreed, and now you can't even inherit the lavish life a unicorn is owed because all people see is the zebra. And now she was working so hard to climb the ranks. Why? To regain her mother's love? To try and gain her own position of power, or get enough recognition so she could eventually turn on Sassy? Maybe to legally get to a place where she could get Sassy's estate or life insurance?

What Pearly doesn't know is that all these theories are wrong. There's no hidden reason to anything at all...Akua is just doing what she loves for the underrepresented, and she will stop at nothing to break glass ceiling after glass ceiling to do it.
