Spotted this little fella when visiting the Devil Sanctuary in Tasmania... I even got to pet one
Lovely little guys these ones who are unfortunately getting closer and closer to extinction, mainly due to disease.
Again, I took this photo in December 2009.
Now I'm not going to pretend I am some sort of professional photographer but if I'm taking a photo I try and at least do it right

Great photograph, you got his face in there and the picture is nice and clear. I'd say you're doing it right.
You really are lucky that you get to see creatures like this in person. They really are cute little guys when they're not trying to rip your flesh off.

Yeah, they are so cool.
Australia has many a funky animal. Where I live there's a handful of different types of deadly snakes and spiders and our beaches quite often have the Great White Sharks hanging out.
Not that I pet any of those mind you

Tasmania is truly a beautiful place... there was wildlife everywhere and these Devils were very, very cool.

Nah, they're all noise, quite timid little guys really.
Saying that though we were told the pressure they can put on with their jaws is greater than a crocodiles

I can't remember the exact name but it's a facial tumour that gets spread when they come in contact with each other... not too great really.
