Description
As I went into the snowy night,
I dropped to my knees before the sight.
My eyes had wanted to search no more,
For there was my lover on the floor.
The snow turned from bright white to blood red,
And then I knew my lover was dead.
Her pale face and blank eyes stared at me,
With her back propped up against a tree.

I went for the phone to call this in.
Someone must be punished for this sin.
"911, What's your emergency?"
The girl on the line asked me simply.
I had swallowed hard before I spoke.
How could I tell that my heart was broke?
"Hello, sir? Do you need assisstance?"
She cannot help, there's no existance.

"She is dead," I said. "She's dead! She's dead!
She is dead! She's been shot in the head!"
"Excuse me, sir?" she had retorted.
"Can you repeat what you've reported?"
"My love has just been taken away."
"Sir?" she asked quickly. "Are you okay?"
She said that she'd be here in a bit.
She told me I had to wait and sit.

When she arrived she surveyed the scene.
She looked like she jsut wanted to scream.
She started asking me many things,
But the memories left pains and stings.
As this woman was looking around,
I noticed something new on the ground.
My lover's ender had left a trail.
I must find this man. I must not fail.

The cop had left her name and number:
"Call me even if I'm in slumber."
That long night I couldn't sleep a wink.
I stayed nocturnal so I could think.
I couldn't believe what had been done,
But I hope that he had had his fun.
He would ask for torture as relief
From his pain, both above and beneath.

Today was the day my revenge came.
I would be ending his evil game.
Motivated by hate and despair,
I tried to keep from pulling my hair.
'Eye for an eye and the world is blind.'
That is okay, I don't really mind.
Push comes to push and shove comes to shove.
I swear I'll make him pay for my love.
