YAY! I've offered loads of people the opportunity to come round my house to play The Last of Us/Batman/Uncharted etc because they don't have a console, or they have an xbox. They have mentioned that they'd like to play them. They're missing out but they've all gone 'Nah, it's alright. I'll play it sometime else.' And I'm like... dude. I see how it is. Screw you.
COME TO MY DEN OF AWESOMENESS. Tidy den of awesomeness I might add. I'm on a holiday break from uni at the moment so I took the hoover and duster on a guided tour of my entire room and had a good sort out. It's so tidy and uncluttered and beautiful and my playstation doesn't have stuff on top of it... and I totally just treated myself to a PS4 even though I probably should have had some more money before I bought it, but I got excited, so that might have added to the inspiration to make my room presentable for its grand opening.

No, I'm at uni, but my family home is only half an hour walk away, so I get to skip the accommodation fees and stay at home thankfully.
Not that I have an income at the moment apart from the odd plush, but I dug out a bunch of old games and my ds lite that I didn't want any more and I got Β£95 trade in at Game so I may have scooped out some savings to make up the rest to treat myself to a ps4 and next gen Lara Croft. xD

I live in Bournemouth on the south coast.
I'm certainly thankful that I'm in this position! In some ways I'm missing out on socialising with new people, but I hate the idea that you might not get along with the people you live with and that takes away some of the enjoyment. I've heard quite a few such stories. Plus, uni is far too expensive as it is. I'm under no illusion about how fortunate I am to be able to live at home. I feel for people who are having rubbish times in accommodation.
It issss cool. Just can't afford anything else for a substantial amount of time.

Haha! I'll just record a video of me crying so that you can cry at it? AND IT'S OFFICIAL, IT WILL BE ON PS4 IN THE SUMMER! I'm going to be broke with the amount of games coming out this year that I want. Lego Hobbit just came out, Watch Dogs is in May, then The Last of Us and Murdered: Soul Suspect in June, then Batman: Arkham Knight and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor in October.... and possibly more come Christmas!!

Yes. I am. But at the moment it looks like three of the games I want (and want the most, might I add) will be delayed. Looks like Batman might be a 2015 game, The Last of Us: Remastered has had it's June 20th release date taken back from online shopping websites and replaced with a placement holder of 31st December, and the general condition of Naughty Dog at the moment with their high profile staff departures just worries me for Uncharted 4.

It was really great finding the concept art for the backpack though - very very helpful indeed. Just as I found photos breaking down Sean Bean's Boromir outfit! We enjoy such jackpots.

I was so happy to finally make a plushie with a smile/smirk! They've looked rather grumpy/sad of late. Haha. Perhaps I'm drawn to making grumpy and sad characters. Probably because I feel for them so they have a special space in my heart where I can love them and look after them.

I used a mix of fimo and sculpey to make the waterguns and the pistol. For the backpack, I luckily hit the jackpot when I looked through the Left Behind bonuses in the menu and found a specific concept art gallery for the DLC. It had a series of four concept arts for Riley's backpack. They each had different combinations of drawings/designs on, so I scrutinised some of the cutscenes I knew Riley's backpack had appeared in on youtube to take a closer look, to try and identify what combination of designs they had used! And voila. Hehe.

No, it doesn't actually have a zipper, sadly enough. Haha. I haven't properly looked into trying to find zips small enough. So here, the front pocket just has a little sculpey zip pull for effect, and to attach the tassle charm, and the main section of the bag closes with three little poppers/snaps like Ellie's.
I love scrutinising characters for their details. It's like I'm a crazy person going 'give me your secrets preciouussss...'
Her hair was fun! More unravelled yarn, a hair bun tutorial and a small piece of hair net and ribbon later, and voila!
