Description a golden pole. a merry-go-round. a ring to reach for.
a nightmare.

behold a pale horse.
decrepit logic

NON
SENSE
senses senseless sensing sensible songs singing sorrowful and meaningful full of meaning meaningless means to an end of time.

death walks among us. the shadows are long, and the dreams dark.
none of this makes sense....it's simply creepy, and filled with latent symbolism. and THAT is the point......

very expressive and atmospheric. the haunted little village is remarkable. i almost can see me behind one of those windows, shrunk in a dark corner of the room... waiting for the worse to happen.

reminds me of some horrific evil out of "maldoror," a manifestation of the grotesque anti-hero.

something that builds in stories and shared nightmares, mutated in fears, misunderstood and unspeakable, and really, a lonely tortured soul whose reputation is worse than his reality.

i think he's strangely lovable... but i always fall for that shunned cast-off type.

simply creepy is right... howlers... where have i heard that? king or kafka or lovecraft maybe? i can't remember, but the word itself left an impression. anyway, these latest pieces with the nightmare cartoonish creatures are really hitting the right spot! [when i was a child, i used to sleep with my arm hanging over the side of the bed. until one night, something grabbed it....]

some how, this connects me to a lynching (of no particular era)

doesn't matter the man or his story, only that there is a rope and a corpse.

it may just be lately, but i'm waiting for the riots to errupt.

it isn't creepy. just troubling. but then again, the head is full and the heart is wavering mes ami
