Custom Castien for my buddy =Enaxn ;v;
She asked for a buddy for this lad so I went with a blue coloured bird; a belted kingfisher! I tried to actually keep a lot with the birds design (had to keep that neck marking, trait of the bird of course ) and the cute lil tail.

Also, design note for Castien! As seen here, the crest on this one looks very thin and almost hair like much like the kingfisher. If you choose a bird that has a significant crest much like a hoatzin which is very furred (see Here ) it will translate to the Castien. Some bird species don't have a significant crest if at all so they'll have a normal crest. Further if a bird has specific pinions much like a Secretary Bird on its head that will translate onto the Castien and they can have those head pinions. (Same for something like a Great Horned Owl , a Nightjar which has "whiskers" on its beak.) Also if a bird you choose already has identifiable pinions like a Marvellous Spatuletail the pinions will be shaped like that.
