i gave this Β a lot of thought and while they are produced on a weekly pace at the moment and will be altogether finished by months end, i have decided i will delay posting them until they are all completethis final part should be read in one go. for everyone's enjoyment. so end of this month, this storyarc ends.
you can keep up with the progress on twitter and facebook till then!
as for the future of this whole thing:
after sunstone chapter 5 is finished , i will take about a month to month and a half for rest, and planning.
then the second arc begins
for all of you new readers here, sunstone is the first of 4 planned arcs
each story arc has a different couple as the central protagonists but are intertwined and help progress the others
second arc focuses on alan and anne, it's called mercy (based on their safeword) and will expand the stories of ally, lisa and other involved characters
but, let's first wrap up this one

Loving your plan for the future of this series. I honestly was blown away by how great Sunstone was, it has got to be one the best written graphic Novels I've read in a good while. Along with the amazing art makes it a masterpiece. I look forward to all your future work.

Actually we don't need to do anything to pester him along, the book of chapter 5 comes out Dec. 5th according to Amazon, so his bosses at Top Cow will nag him for us to get stuff done. Β

But honestly the wait adds a little spice to it. I mean everybody feels like Ally now waiting for Lisa to upload the next part of the story and pressing repeatingly F5.Β
You could say you put storytelling to the next level by making your audience experience what your protagonists feel.

This story is captivating and I'm excited to learn there are even more arcs to come! I want to buy the books and would like to do it in the way that benefits you the most. Where should I shop to accomplish that? Thanks!

I have to admit, as much as I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful end of this arc, it's going to be very, very bittersweet for me. I don't really know how this was made in such a way that made it feel oh so accurate to real life.
I'm a kinky lesbian in real life and, if I'm honest, what bought me here was some cheap eye-candy in the first place...but then I fell in love with Ally and Lisa, their trials and tribulations and the way that their relationship kind of mirrored some of my own (not commenting on the kinky stuff, that's for me to know, but in terms of communication, jealousy etc).
I identified with these characters and it will leave a hole in my heart for a while when I see that they're no longer the main focus of the story, but I honestly cannot wait to see how they come back together and the beautiful way I'm sure it will be illustrated.

I know how you feel. I too am feeling kinda weird about this arc finishing, because I am so invested in Ally and Lisa. On the other hand, I am a hetero, readheaded guy, with some dommy traits, who has withdrawn from romance in my life because of hurtful setbacks in my past, so you can imagine how much I identify with Alan, and how much I look forward to Mercy. Now, I am only speculating here, only Stjepan knows how Mercy will go, but my expectation is that it will pick up exactly where Sunstone leaves off, and that it will still be Lisa writing the story. Remember that many times during the books she says about Alan and Anne "we'll get to that later" and similar statements, so I think that in the end, Lisa and Ally will still be the anchor of the story, even in Mercy. Stjepan has been posting many teasers over the last few years, and when you look at them it does look like Ally and Lisa's story is much bigger than just them getting married when it's all over. Many scetches that Stjepan has posted of potential future events clearly feature Ally and Lisa heavily, even when they are focused on Anne and Alan as well. Now, we can't know to which extent Stjepan will be using these older scetches in the future, but even so, I think Mercy will still give us much much more with Ally and Lisa.
Think about Anne's storyline in Sunstone, and the extended flashback about Alan and Ally in college. These are long stories, that fill many pages of the books, but they are still embeded in the larger narative, and it feels like Mercy will continue in this style. I mean, I can only guess at exactly how Stjepan is going to do it, but all I'm saying is I think Ally and Lisa will still be the heart of the story in their own way, even in Mercy, where they might take a "secondary plotline" role for a while. Remember they still have to befriend Marion, and they need to move from the house to an appartment (mentioned in one of the last strips of Chapter 4), Ally needs to meet Lisa's mom, introduced as "My girlfriend" (a teaser Stjepan posted once) and probably many other things.
So I'm with you, but I think and hope that Mercy will satisfy you, and not just someone like me, who loves Alan and wants to see more of him. Ally and Lisa forever!

Sunstone won't, but the story goes on with the other characters (and Ally and Lisa will take part in them, just not the main part). And finally - the 4th arc will summarize the whole story - and will contain Lisa's and Ally's wedding

I love these characters. I love that you've created realistic and believable people centered in the world of bdsm. I've laughed, cried, and cringed during this wild ride and eagerly await Alan and Anne's story. Once I get the money, I'll definitely be buying the books. We've loved it so much that despite having access to them online we have pre-ordered every time one has become available so far and we're really looking forward to more from you.
