Hmmm...though I'm not European...I have great respect for Germany and Russia. I also love photography and boy am I pleased.I've always wanted a cap such as this..but..I wouldn't wear it out in public of course. Americans are dumb. Fingers would be pointed ..and possibly I would get shot. I'm rambling on. But besides that...I really like this. It makes my mind take a journey...it looks so old. Like it was taken during WW2... Thank you very much for your reply, I agree with what you said. The original photo was taken in black and white actually, but then I added the sepia afterwards, also unfocusing the background a little more just to really bring out the subject. It was actually rested on the top of an old wooden chair, and I knelt down to take it. I was quite surprised with the results if I do say so myself as admittidly I didnยดt put a lot of planning into angle ect. Nonetheless I do think it came out perfect and is one of my favorite pictures from me.

I'm glad You have enough brains, like me, to see that we Germans shouldn't hold a grudge against the Russians. They and we were at war. We lost, no big deal. They had/have some pretty great shit. I mean, the AK 47..., come-on, yes?
