By the time Unchecked Rains was born, Dinky was already in her late teens, and in Canterlot's School for Gifted Unicorns. She boarded there and as a result could only visit home every few weeks. She didn't get to meet her younger sibling until they were around two months old, and was a little skeptical about having a new baby around. She was pretty grumpy around them for a few days, but turns out she couldn't really keep up that act forever. No she's an overly protective loving big sis who'll pretty much obliterate anyone who dares even speak ill of her sibling.

Rainy loved Dinky from the moment they met her. Even as a baby, they immediately fluffed up and started cooing and burbling and excitedly babbling in their foal talk when they saw her for the first time. Their big sister is the best.
