Let me introduce you to Twisted Cosmos (I know she's already been established let me have my fun) - the (for now) only child of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna.

Notes:

Her 'Job'

-She's a sweet heart, she's a softy, and she's the most frightening mare one could ever meet. Why? Because she's the puppeteer of Equestria's underworld. She has contacts everywhere, eyes and ears spread across the country, a trail of deals and contracts a mile long. While she may know of almost all movements in the underworld (including gang wars, drug deals, weapon trades and the likes) she cares little about them unless they break the guidelines she has so generously given those who choose to dabble in the life of crime. This includes limits on the quantity of illegal substances you can sell, a restriction on the number of black market items you have in possession, and a warning on the level of influence your gang or mob can gain before she'll step in (there are many more, most unique to the pony in which they apply, but those are some basic ones). Any who oppose her often promptly find their neck broken, or their gut slashed or a bullet through their eye. Or maybe they'll be missing a few organs, or some teeth, or maybe even a few limbs when they wake up one morning. It depends on how far you pushed her limits, and who she hired to take care of things.

-She tolerates almost nothing having to do with pony trafficking, nor anything involving foals or a direct threat to the crown or anything that may displease those on the throne. You may notice that Equestria has a distinct lack of serial killers. Occasionally she's inclined to arrange a few assassinations wished for by the Diarchy.

-Twisty understands that there will always be crime. Ponies who do bad things in the night and make bad decisions. There's no getting around that. But with a little work, she can control it, just a little, and make sure it doesn't grow into something obscene-something that weakens the country and the ruling powers.

-To the underworld, she is just a nameless and faceless figure that looms over the heads of those who break the law. She remains unidentified despite the numerous attempts of many crime-lords to figure out just who sent that sealed letter containing the guidelines that would dictate what lines they could and could not cross. She is very careful not to reveal her face or her identity to those she 'rules'.

-If you've done something particularly heinous, and Twisty takes personal offense - she'll send Rain-Check to deal with you. Which is bad for you. Really bad.

-She's a little like the royal's guard dog, and often does the dirty work for the crown. This isn't to say she goes out and does these assassinations and such with her own hooves (that would be much too risky, she does have an image to uphold with the public and the nobility, after all), but she does have them arranged through her more trusted contacts.

-She believes that the end justifies the means

-She has at least one infiltrator in every criminal organization, to keep tabs. Major movements or anything that could be deemed important (such as a breech of a contract) are reported back to a special team of ponies that Twisty has assigned to look over such matters. Usually, problems are small, and the team is able to handle things according to the instructions Twisted has given them but occasionally something big pops up. Big problems are reported to Cosmos herself, and dealt with accordingly.

-Her close friends and family call her Twisty and she hates it

-She hates papaya

-She isn't immortal but has an extended life span

-Her mama Twi doesn't like how Twisty is so intertwined with the criminal world. She has a hard time thinking of the things her baby's had to do to keep her status and power. While Twisty believes the ends jsutify the means, Twilight does not, and this puts a rift between them
