My Intended Entry For The EliteArtists February Competition"The Land Down Under"
No Photographers were injured in the making of this fan ART. More than 8 different photographic references were used. This pose is completely fabricated by the Artist. 8.25"x10.25" Acrylic Grisaille.
In greatest memory of my "bohemian brother"
Mr. Heath Ledger...You will always be remembered!
This tribute is also dedicated to his beautiful daughter Matilda, and his gracious family left behind!
Although I had no intentions of making this a print, I have decided to leave it indefinitely as a download so that anyone may print it out for themselves if they desire. (I encourage you to use watercolor paper cut to size.) Feel free to use it in any blogs, etc. etc. its my greatest hope, that we can enhance the image, that we are left artistically to remember him by. Heath was so obviously loved by so many, and everyone that knew anything about him, especially here on dA! My best to you always in final tribute!

This is a lovely painting. I like your style, especially around his face/hair. Its very unique.
I'm curious to ask, did you find a picture of Heath's "Matilda" tattoo? Or did you just make up an appearance for it? (I've never seen a picture of it so I'm interested in knowing what its really like.)

Heath was an incredible guy..and regardless of his fame he would still pull over on the side of the road to help with a flat tire of a stranded motorist

Yes it is really sad that he has gone, he was at one time my most favourite actor. I think that was way back in 2001 when he starred in the Knight's Tale, I immediately fell in love with his charms and his extraordinary good looks.
Although he's slipped from my mind over the years, he'd always had a little place in my heart where I put my teenage crushes in...ha ha ha
anyway, you've made such a wonderful portrait of him! He would be so pleased if he lived to see it...very beautiful!
