Private Art Collection of: Mr Todd Olson~ Producing Artistic Director at American Stage Theatre Company.Painting for the American Stage Theatre GRAND re-opening.
18"x24" Oil on premium canvas. My first solo show of 7 pieces. ( ALL sold, 2 commissioned, 6 on Permanent Exhibit) The next two are very colorful and will be painted more loosely and impressionistic.

well for this one i oculd have a lot to say, as if someone is looking life as from a stage, looking behind and see a life of fullness, or emptyness, and the spotlights and stairs represent the exit, the next step. I luved this!

Reminds me of an old theater I go to a time or two each year. I really love the lighting - I can't keep my eyes off of the divan's velveteen textures.

It is an enchanted place really. The New One will be like boarding The Starship Enterprise. It is so different they want this to help with the transition. Lovely high quality performances very reasonable. lovely people. I hope we do well with it! The best to you always my very talented friend.Just for fun..I was painting the divan working out from the center (which is unusual for me) when I received the deadline. I learned that I had two weeks to do 3 more paintings after this one...
