Some sketches I went through to figure out what I wanted for Howlite's Homeworld design. I've gone through a couple of other designs for her before the final one, cuz neither of them felt right.

Howlite is a super-calming stone, and many people use it to relieve stress of all kinds. It can decrease an overly critical state of mind, selfishness, and anxiety, bringing calmness and relaxation. It's also a stone of awareness, and can prepare the user or wearer to receive wisdom and atonement from the Higher Self and the Divine. Howlite can also be used to release attachments that link emotional pain from the past to the present. Real howlite stones are considered calming stones, which I believe to be a form of healing, so I made Homeworld!Howlite a nurse that heals cracked gems. Her ability is defected, though, because raising it can damage the physical forms of other gems.
