Description Experiment.

Wanted to paint one of those moments when you hear one of those really great songs and you forget everything around you as your mind just follows the flow of the music.

For some reason this usually happens when i wander around alone in the Swedish winter darkness listening to songs like this one ...

It requires months of training in a secluded Tibetan monastery...

Nah, just some dedication, time and love for art and you can achieve whatever you want.

This is a wonderful piece. ~
When I first saw it, I thought it was traditional beacause of the watercolor-like texture it has. I'm a big fan of the colors here too. The colors really help with the mood becuase, even if I didn't read your artists comment, I could still tell right away that the beginning was meant to be cold, dark and lonely and at the end, everything turns out wonderful and very....calming (I can't quite find the right word at the moment, forgive me) Also, for the first panel, the way you have the guy (you, perhaps?) walking...the sort of dreary/tired walk really works well with the intended mood.

Normally, I'd probably mention something about the bottom panel and how the "flowing music" looks a little too cartoony compared to the rest of the piece, but it actually works quite nicely here. The outlines help it pop and grab the viewer's attention, which is just what it should be doing.

A very nice and moving piece, all in all.
Keep up the great work, man.~

Man... i've been longing for this for so long. My mp3 player broke at the start of the summer, so I haven't really had music to bring around outside of the house for at least 6 months.

Ordered a new mp3 player for xmas so I really can't wait. Completely agree about these winter months, walking home at night through the stillness of the snow, can't wait to enhance that with some quality music.

You did a great job btw, very strong simple paneling

Aaaah!
Being almost without music for 6 whole months... That's one horrifying thought. O:
I feel sorry for you.

And thanks for the feedback! Struggling hard with hands though, but im really satisfied with the rest.

I blast out as much music as I can when I'm at home, I don't think I'd survive 6 months without it.

I'll try give you some critique on your pk thread soon.
