Description
The ground trembled.Giant rocks started rising from the ground, their dark surfaces covered with twisted faces.
The ground trembled.
A shrill shriek, like the shriek of thousand bloodthirsty ravens, rose from the center of the terrifying rocks.
It seemed to say "Finally!".
The acolyte was trembling, he started to doubt his actions, what if it didn't work?.
But then, it stood there. A moment ago it had still been shrieking in it's eternal prison, and just one heartbeat later it was there, towering above him.
The acolyte raised his hands in the air and shouted "Master!".
And that was the last thing he would ever say.
Yay, it's done!
I'm still a bit unsure about some parts of the picture, so if you see anything you think i should improve please tell me!

Actually i wanted it a lot more stylized, but then i got some problem with the rocks and the picture got half outline half normal...
And thanks for pointing out the problem with the sorcerer guy, now that you said that it feels so obvious... I'll look into it tomorrow.

Nice work, its stylized but cool. Its very hard to make out the "acolyte" though. I think there should be some light striking him from the glowing raven, and the glow from the two fires behind him. Just a tiny sharp outline of green should do it.

So, i updated the pic a little, made the little guy a little easier to notice and i also added a weak texture to the picture.

Hmm, i think i will have a look at that you forum mentioned now, Deviantart is good for finding good artists but not that good for getting feedback etc... Except if you are famous ofc...
Btw, it has been some time since you updated your page... You haven't grown lazy or so, have you? ^^

oh yeah, and I don't update on dA too often. But I post 90% of my stuff on Polykarbon. I usually dump everything in my sketchbook every month or so, but I post up art on the rest of PK frequently.

Yeah its true, deviantart (for me) is a great place to dump all your art in one place, and also collect other peoples art and maybe reference photos etc... But its really hard to get noticed unless you've lots of very polished art.. or lots of friends there.
Polykarbon isn't very active, BUT the people who are active make a nice community. Its great if you've got a WIP and you want some feedback before its finished. Also Sketchbook threads are good idea if you want some continual feedback on where to take your art, and where you need to improve.
