I'm not even going to lie to you, this is probably the laziest shading job I've ever done on a group app. Unfortunately, I wanted to make room for other obligations potentially other rushed group applications and had to get this cleared out before the closing date on Tuesday. I want to fix this up one day, when I'm less busy and pressed for time!

Abilities:
(Being an Absolute, Ford has no real "abilities", outside of limited human capabilities.)
- As a waiter, Ford is quite nimble, with amazing balance, posture, and a good sense for quick reaction time. Something's gotta keep him from bumping into someone and spilling a hot bowl of soup in their face, right?
- Spends a decent amount of time exercising for fun, and has a punching bag at home that he enjoys venting out any pent-up aggression on. Ford isn't half bad when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, but chooses to only ever act in self-defense.
- Though a small attribute, Ford is that naturally light-footed guy that can stealthily walk up behind anyone, and may unintentionally startle them when they turn around. He usually doesn't mean it, though their shock can be somewhat entertaining...
Weaknesses:
- Prone to letting people step all over him, like something of a living doormat. Ford has a pretty difficult time saying "no", leaving him vulnerable to anyone who is willing to take advantage of him and his kindness.
- Ford suffers from severe insomnia, and may go up to 48 hours without getting a wink of sleep. He's pretty good at pretending he's fine... as in, not slowly dying from sleep deprivation. However, when he's especially tired, he becomes very testy - not to mention the fact that anything more than a small nudge could send him toppling over.
- Long-range weapons. You can't expect him to shoot a gun if it was to save his life, and Ford has absolutely no interest in learning, considering guns are for killing. He personally prefers close combat for this reason, but, well... don't bring a knife (or brass knuckles) to a gunfight.

Personality:
Tactful | Agreeable | Clever | Restless | Pushover | Uptight

Some may say "unapproachable", but simply put, Ford's face doesn't at all match his personality. He is actually a relatively easy person to get along with, if one takes the time to get to know him, rather than judge at first glance. While somewhat reserved, Ford is decent at making conversation, though he is a better listener than communicator. It isn't always easy for Ford to express how he feels, or generally speak his mind, for fear of offending someone simply by opening his mouth. His considerate nature gives him room to tip-toe around potential social blunders, making him a good peacekeeper... if not a pansy for others to push around. However, Ford's devotion to those he cares about is no joke. He tends to hover over (and dote on) his friends, like something of an overbearing, concerned parent. Of course, completely disregarding age.

Ford is constantly exhausted, as anyone may be able to tell. An intense worrier, the weight of various anxieties and stress often keeps him awake for extended periods of time. As hard as he works in order to make ends meet, Ford isn't given much time to himself, regardless. With other obligations to attend to, a good night's sleep is often out of the question. Expect him to be enthusiastic, ready, and rearing to go anywhere at any time, only to eventually crash and burn if he pushes himself too hard, as he so often does. Don't be offended if you find him struggling to keep his head up mid-conversation... and random bouts of irritability, unfortunately, come with the territory.
Likes:
- Venting stress through physical exercise.
- Being the designated Mom Friend™. And glossing over his own mental and physical health for the sake of looking out for others, like a dingus.
- Generally feeling needed and appreciated.
- People who are shorter than him. (He won't be disrespectful about it, but if you're under 6'0'', chances are he thinks you're adorable.)
- Learning about the dreams, aspirations, and life stories of others. Ford's a good listener.
Dislikes:
- Being told to "take a break". He knows he needs to take a break, but there's just no room for breaks in his life... or at least, that's what he'll tell you.
- Conflict. He will do anything to avoid it if he can.
- Bad puns. Or so he'll say, while secretly impressed.
- Sleeping, believe it or not. Unfortunately, when Ford does manage to get a good rest, he's usually plagued by awful nightmares.
- Being stared at for long periods of time, especially by strangers. He'll get self-conscious, haha...
Additional information:
- In case you haven't already guessed, while his legal first name is actually "Fjord", he prefers to go by Ford. He feels it's easier to to spell, pronounce, and... generally less embarrassing. It's a shame, because Ford actually likes his real name, and honestly wouldn't mind being called Fjord by the right person.
- Since he's still pretty confused about it all, Ford isn't comfortable disclosing his romantic or sexual orientation openly. He doesn't hide it, but will become extremely flustered and hesitant if asked. However, being a pushover, he'll explain it to anyone who's interested in knowing... but would you be, really?
- Though he will protest, a friend who will force Ford to step back and relax once in a while is exactly what he needs in his life.
- Actually, he just needs a good friend, period. Ford has had very few close friends in his life.
