.5 mechanical pencil and many many hours....
Inspired by Kiss From A Rose by Seal, one of my all time favorates... I worked on it on and off for a period of two months or so...

What medium is this?
It's unbeliveable, I can't quite describe what I like about it, but I'll try to put it in words.
There's just a very soft look to it, but then, you transition from softness to solid-ness and I think most people tend to mess up on that, but you didn't.
The atmosphere, details, facial expressions, anatomy are all just so wonderful.
Although I think the man's arm is a tad too thin, but that's really it.
All in all just very splendid. You inspire me to draw something that has a smooth transition in tones like this.
(I've babbled alot havent I? I'll stop now, but I just didn't want to give you a bland comment on such beautiful work)

Wow... the guy's expressions looks really dazed... which adds more to the feeling of this piece, I think.
I love how you made the edges of the characters um... sort of fade into white background, because it makes the picture seem much more fantasy-like. Overall, a really, really beautiful picture.. TT__TT

Oh, wow. O_O You have about a thousand times more patience than me. It really shows that you put a lot of effort into this one. I really like the way it fades at the bottom, as well as the textures in the fabric. How big was the paper you used? Did you use a workable fixatif on this between working sessions? I know I'd have to... otherwise, smear city. But bravo for you XD
