The thought seemed like such a good idea at the time... *wonders if it's stupid to be in the gallery*I finally get to spend some time to play Shin Sangokumusou 5 Empires. ^o^ I got completely destroyed as a ruler during my first play through, so I played as an officer of a kingdom instead. Somehow I picked Ling Tong (!?). Since my brother sometimes plays Empires with me, I recruited a female character for him (Zhen Ji) to accompany Ling Tong.
...At some point, I got an event to marry her. So I did. Soon after Gan Ning kept wanting to join my ranks, but I maxed out on officers so I kept denying him. XD
Oh the weird events of Empires...

From what I've gathered, you can ONLY capture people when you play as a ruler. Then you get to pick to trade them off or keep them for yourself. No more executions--this Empires game doesn't have enough people for that

...the marriages are some of those great things about this game... seriously XD I love Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires!!!
Oh well, you can always keep your Zhen Ji as your wife and make Gan Ning your sworn brother XDDD OH THE LOVE TRIANGLE!!!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Too bad you're limited on female characters, unless you create more (PLENTY of edit slots to do so by the way...).
But with that scenario, Ling Tong will have his wife (Zhen Ji)...and his real wife (Gan Ning) XD
