Description Chara: Look. I don't really care what you do down here. Just... don't hurt my brother. Look at him. He's suffered enough as is, don't you think? He doesn't need you to land the final blow... Not that I'd ever let you.
Asriel: (...This... this is real, right? Another human? I mean, there haven't been any sightings of humans or their souls in years. This could be my chance, but... I'd need to do it before I get too attached... Ngh...)

Storyshift belongs to voltrathelively. Storyfell/Shiftfell/[whatever the heck this is called] is a fandom-adopted AU of Storyshift that, much like the original Underfell, is left up to interpretation.

More traditional designs for Storyfell!Asriel and Storyfell!Chara can be found here .

Whoa, that was fast. Here we are with the digitized version of Storyfell's Chara and Asriel; at least, my interpretation of them. If you want a full rundown of how I feel about/ interpret Underfell in general, you can read it here , but in short, I imagine Underfell as a decayed, anarchic setting rather than the usual over-the-top red-painted setting. Think of it like all those Zombie Apocalypse Survival stories but without any actual zombies. Strange as it is, I kinda like it. I made the shading simple and left out highlights to better capture that desolate tone.

Anyway, I finally figured out how I wanted these two's color schemes to go. They both still have their jackets from Storyshift, but they're heavily unsaturated and torn apart after years of rough living. Asriel's rainbow bandanna was ruined forever when he used it to patch up a nasty injury Chara got on his leg, so he tossed it. To replace it, he tore off a piece of his old, unwearable sweater and made that his new bandanna. Chara had to ditch his white t-shirt because it started rotting and attracted spiders, but he managed to find a black t-shirt about his size near Waterfall. Their clothing from the waist down is largely the same, just tattered.

If you're attentive enough, you may notice their hair/fur is longer and more wild (but I'm sure you noticed the wild bit) than normal. Let's just say proper grooming is an irregularity nowadays. The poor things. Again, if you're interested in their personalities and backstories, you can read that in the description of the sketch I posted, which I linked up above. Basically, though, Chara really only cares about Asriel, and Asriel is losing hope by the day and secretly wishes to overthrow King Sans.

Thanks for tuning in and have a nice day.

This is still one of the simplest and most effective designs for a SF setting.

Ah, thank you! I really appreciate it.

I can see the appeal for a traditional "Fell" setting, but  I prefer keeping original appearances and personalities largely intact.

I like the idea of the world basically having been the original shift once but added events caused massive changes to the world. That’s kinda the impression I get from it.

Ah, then I'm glad to hear! That's actually what I was going for with this.
