Okay, so I'm not usually a huge Disney fan, but oh my gosh, I LOVE Moana!!!! So, naturally, I had to paint her. I figured it would be a good practise of drawing humans, but not in a realism style as I've been attempting lately. And I actually LOVE how it turned out! Obviously it's not without flaws, but I feel like it really helped with my attention to detail and colours! I also got a lot of help and critique from Snowfeather4876 so that was helpful too! But yeah, I'm really happy with it! I think what I need to work on next is becoming less reliant on the eyedropper tool (hahahahahaha) and developing my eye for colour, as well as working on being more creative, rather than just painting from references (that's not to say I won't use references but just not painting the ref exactly as it is!).
Anyway, if you haven't watched Moana, I seriously recommend you go do so! The animation's stunning and the soundtrack is amazing (of course, given that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote it)!
