thank you so much I made toothless out of air drying clay for the first time yesterday and used a method close to what you have used. the wing on mine turned out badly and the info will help out a lot with the next sculpture I am planning on making. I have not painted my sculpture yet as it has not dried. So as soon I have finished it I will put it up on my account on deviant art for all to see. I have never used clay before so it will be interesting how it will turn out.

Now that I've discovered what an amazing artist you are Strecno, I'm hoping to be able to commission a much bigger Toothless from you as soon as you are able to take it on.
I'm constantly flying around myself as a flight attendant and I'm a total sucker for anime: My house is full of strange flying things like Appa the Sky Bison and Nekobasu (The Japanese Cat Bus), but Toothless is my ultimate favorite: he's sticking his tongue out at me on my wallpaper every day
I also fly to many places in Germany, would love to meet up and see more of your art!
