"Walk on, walk on. Good girl."

It was a mantra that Leo had been repeating for the last five or six minutes. The young mare was doing her part, listening intently and doing as she was told. The blonde beamed. The three year old filly had been given extra time to be 'horsey' so that her bones could grow stronger but, even with the extra down time, the cremello filly was exceptionally responsive: when she was told to 'whoa', she stopped and turned to look at Leo; when she was told to walk on, the filly walked forward.

Leora was thrilled.

The young filly snorted, her ears tuned onto the girl as she made a few 'click' noises with her tongue.

Jack stood at the gate, Stella held under his arm like the day's newspaper. The puppy grappled with the fence, her ears pricked forward as she wriggled around trying to free herself from the old man's grasp. "Oh no you don't. Yer stuck with me, yeh whelp." The puppy sighed heavily, as if her world was ending, but rested her head on the fence as she resolved to at least watch the training session.

The old man smiled, adjusting his hat again so that the bright sun wasn't in his eyes. The filly was turning out nicely -- so was her trainer. "She'll be 'right, won't she Stella?" The puppy, at Jack's voice, began to furiously wag her tail. Jack ruffled her ears with his calloused hands before turning away to finish his rounds.

They were fine without him.

Lunging with Goulding, yay! I was supposed to be working on a show entry but... I REALLY want to get Goulding trained so that she can start showing too. Anywho, this'll be Goulding's lunging image over at my training group, #equiBREAK . Two training images down, three to go!

On a side note... I really need to get Jack's reference up. I mention him too much for him to be faceless.
