Description Art by David White ( Mecha-Zone ) . This is David's take on our original Infighter Mech.  It is heavily based on a miniature I bought that was actually a sort of miscellaneous bargain bin pewter figure.  I have no idea what series it is from originally and have had no luck online trying to figure this out!.  If anyone knows what it is from, please let me know if you have the chance. David added a lot of detail to this design and also improved the proportions to better suit the BattleTech universe.  David's own website can be seen here:

The Infighter is a prototype 70-ton Mech from the combined imaginations of Rocky Potts and Dr. Byron Jones, both of whom were members of Strider's Strikers from the teams early days.  Though they managed to design and build the Mech as originally planned, the 70-ton machine required dramatic costs to refit armor or replace weapons lost during battle.  As a result it was structurally redesigned to it's current configuration, which enables it to retrofit heavily from both the Exterminator and Charger armor systems.  The new configuration can be seen here:  stridersstrikersteam.deviantar…

Apologies to anyone who tries visiting our site.  It's down for the moment, though not gone.  Some sort of rights issue with Yahoo's service being bought and then reacquiring licenses from a new company.  Supposed to be worked out very soon...
