Description Ah Divebomb.....
in Transformer's comic books, he is shown to be the arch enemy of Dinobot Swoop.
The 2 of them have a kind of Wolverine/Sabretooth type of relationship....they can't wait to kill each other.

In my Swoop redesign, I made him a ninja fembot,
and considered doing the same or something similar for Divebomb too.
But I always disliked how in those 80's cartoons, they always had the token good female and bad female characters fight each other instead of any other chacter in the show,
as if they did not have the mettle
(no pun intended)
to take on anyone else besides their gender specific counterpart.
Why can't the female hero/villian fight the male hero/villian?
This practice seems to imply that women are weak and helpless,
and can never be expected to hold their own against someone who isn't also a women.

There were a few exceptions...I recall an episode of GIJOE where Flint had a hand to hand fight with the Baroness (who was disguised as a maid I think) in Destro's castle.
This practice is still done a little in cartoons (American or otherwise) today, though not nearly as much.
Go Equal Rights!
Anyway, I'd like these 2 to retain that rivalry and hatred that would make for a great fight scene (not condoning violence against women here).

As I thought about how I wanted Divebomb to look here,
those "feathered" wings of the Wing Zero Custom from Mobile Suit Gundam Endless Waltz kept coming to mind.
I didn't want this pic to seems like a rip-off.....
But then I realized that it was Divebomb here who was the elder character,
and he has always had robot feathered wings.
Even though his original design is older than the Wing Zero Custom, I gave him big wings liken to it anyway.

I also wanted to give him a little more personality too, and found myself thinking about various birdman legends
(No, not that birdman)
of ancient cultures from various countries.
I'm no anthropologist, and I admit that I really don't know anything about these legends, folklore, and myths, etc.
Even so, with this in mind, I also decided to give him kind of a Native American motif too.
Here's hoping I don't offend any Native Americans out there by doing this, seeing as how Divebomb is a villain.

(Or does that just make me ignorant saying I gave him a Native American look just because I put a lot of feathers, and some face paint on him?).

I think he turned out OK.

Speaking frankly as a first nations, i think you did a spot on job. And i am very pleased with how you used the bird head as a hood, very reminiscent of some myths about the Thunderbird's specificity a myth ware in human form they wore a clock of there feathers with the Thunderbird's had as a hood and would change form to and from by pulling down the hood
