Description Definitely didn't think about my name for this ship, trust me. But like the previous ship, this ship was featured in the Revenge of the brick animation back in 2004 to 2005. In the animation, Anakin rebuilds his destroyed ARC-170 into this ship. However it didn't have a cockpit so I decided to add that and some lore:

Developed by Koensayr Manufacturing, the BTS-A4 was a successor to the BTS-A2 H-wing that Koensayr made to support the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil war. The BTS-A4 entered service in 5 ABY where a year was spent to try and improve upon the H-wing and make it cheaper.

This was accomplished by using parts from the BTL Y-wing series to help keep production cost low. This also helped with maintenance for Rebel units operating with both Y-wing’s and Striker’s. Aside from the ease of maintenance, their armament included a pair of twin linked laser cannons on the front of the fighter, a 360 degree rotating dual laser turret, and a 7-tube missile launcher with a standard armament of 14 concussion missiles in total. Despite sharing many components to the Y-wing, it could often be compared to a Skipray blastboat with its size and crew, including 1 pilot, 1 co-pilot and 1 turret gunner. Due to it’s larger size, most Rebel pilots opted to stay with the Y-wing rather than move over to the Striker.

However a few Strikers did see some success. Such as the Liberation of Coruscant and the Orinda campaign. However their true rise to success was during the Yuuzhan vong war, where Striker squadrons developed a tactic to exploit the Dovin basels, where one Striker would fire a few missiles so that a dovin basel would suck in the missiles, while another Striker would fire a pair of missiles nearby where the dovin basel couldn’t suck up the shots. This tactic would be used heavily during hit-and-fade missions for ambushing convoys.

After the war ended, the Galactic Alliance still fielded the BTS-A4 in their military. However, like the Y-wing, they were starting to find their way in planetary defense forces, such as Commenor, Fondor, and Tierfon.
