Description

Although she might be overshadowed by most other Pokemon as an entry hazard setter, Froslass is by no means unviable. A base 110 Speed makes her very fast, and in conjunction with her STAB Ice Beam, Froslass can beat many other hazard setters and Defoggers. As a Ghost-type, she can also spinblock for herself, so opponents can't KO her with Rapid Spin after knocking her down to her Focus Sash, wiping away her efforts. Unlike other suicide leads, Froslass can also make use out of Destiny Bond to ensure that you won't always be playing with a Pokemon down in exchange for hazards either, though this is reliant on good prediction, lest you waste a turn. Froslass also has a nice ability in Cursed Body that sometimes allows her to get an extra layer of hazards. However, some aspects of the metagame make it difficult for Froslass to be effective. Common priority users can limit her to one layer of Spikes, and the prevalence of Defog makes the Spikes that Froslass does set easier to remove. Reuniclus, Espeon, Mega Absol, and Mega Sableye can be a prominent threat that prevent Froslass from getting any hazards up due to their Magic Bounce ability. Finally, it should be emphasized once again that Froslass faces great competition from other Pokemon as a suicide lead for hyper offensive teams. If you do decide to use her, it's important to utilize her advantages over them, or you will end up with an inferior Pokemon.

Here’s my Froslass's summary.
Nature: Timid
Held Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 6 Def / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
-Destiny Bond
-Shadow Ball / Taunt
-Spikes
-Ice Beam

This set basically functions as a suicide lead. Froslass manages to set up a layer or 2 of Spikes and is then KO'd. Though unlike most Suicide leads, Froslass can take her foe down with her thanks to Destiny Bond. Spikes is used to punish your opponent's switches and make life easier for your other Pokemon. Ice Beam KO's common Stealth Rock leads like Garchomp and Landorus-T while also 2HKOing many common Defoggers. Shadow Ball can be a second alternate STAB move so that Froslass has good neutral coverage and be able to hit anything that resists Ice Beam. Though Taunt is able to stop slower Pokemon from setting up boosts, laying their own entry hazards, or even using Taunt themselves, in fact it pairs very well with Destiny Bond since it'll force your opponent's Pokemon into attacking and KOing Froslass (thus KOing them as well). Lastly, Destiny Bond is a great move to take advantage of the fact that Froslass is a suicide lead and pairs well with Focus Sash. So after at least 1 layer of Spikes has been set up, Froslass is then able to use Destiny Bond and pull off a double KO. Then your opponent will have to send in a new Pokemon which will take damage from Spikes so long as it isn't a Flying-type or has the ability Levitate.

Special Attack and Speed are maximized because Froslass is a frail, fast suicide lead, and the Special Attack investment nets her some important KOs such as a 2HKO on particular Pokemon. Cursed Body is a good ability to potentially get extra chances to set up by disabling an opponent's priority or Choice-locked attacks. Focus Sash is necessary to give Froslass an extra turn to use Spikes or Destiny Bond.

Of course Froslass can run a variety of other moves. Here are some suggestions:
-Thunderbolt is a decent option to get good coverage and hurt Pokemon like Skarmory, but Froslass doesn't want to give up any moveslots. Plus her only decent special attack stat makes it so that she can't really utilize it.
-Hex is an alternate STAB Ghost move Froslass can utilize to great effect given her high speed and access to Thunder Wave. Once the opponent's Pokemon has been paralyzed, Hex will double in damage.
-Icy Wind is a good coverage move in Double Battles, as it hits both targets and lowers their speed.
-Froslass now has access to Draining Kiss, while she doesn't need it to handle Dragon-types, it does work well in helping her better cover her weakness to Dark-types plus it gives her some longevity as well. That being said, Froslass can't really utilize this move since she's already naturally frail.
-Thunder Wave is a good support move to run as it can cripple your opponent's fast Pokemon.
-Will-O-Wisp allows Froslass to cripple Pokemon such as Scizor by halving their attack stat and inflicting residual damage every turn.
-Toxic can be used to cripple bulky switch-ins, but most opponents will opt for a lead that can either KO Froslass outright or prevent it from setting up Spikes.
-Pain Split can be used to give Froslass some longevity so that Froslass can gain a bit of health back. Froslass can use Pain Split on switch-ins, which gives her a tiny bit of longevity.
-Disable is always a good support option to run. It's especially handy at shutting down Pokemon that are holding choice items and are locked into using only one move. With that one move disabled, your opponent is then forced to either switch their Pokemon out or have their Pokemon use Struggle until their move is no longer disabled.
-Spite is a pretty good support option to lower the PP of your opponent's Pokemon's attacks. It can end up being pretty useful in the long run when opponent is unable to spam a particular move with their Pokemon. It's especially helpful if Spite is used on a move that has significantly low PP (like Stone Edge, Close Combat, and Fire Blast). Best of all, Spite is especially helpful when used on a Pokemon that is choice locked into using only one move.
-Mental Herb is another item option for Froslass that allows her to not get affected by opposing Taunts.

Notes:

I nicknamed my Froslass after Weiss Schnee from the popular Web series RWBY (and its especially convenient since Froslass is a female-only species).  Both look beautiful and and have an overall charming appearance and both have Ice-related powers (though Weiss is not restricted to just Ice).

Another suitable nickname for Froslass could be "Yuki-Onna," an Ice Spirit from Japanese Mythology that takes on the appearance of a lovely woman, and is what Froslass is based off of. I gave this nickname to the Froslass I used in my playthrough of my Omega Ruby game.

It’s a good moveset overall. But maybe replace Protect with Taunt. Since you’re running Destiny Bond on your Froslass, your goal is to ultimately take out your opponent’s Pokémon when Froslass is KO’d. What better way to do that then by forcing them to keep attacking Froslass after they’ve been Taunted?

Protect is a great move, but it doesn’t work well with the strategy behind this particular Froslass set.

Best way to utilize a set with Destiny Bond is to Taunt your opponent into attacking you. If you don’t and you use Destiny Bond on a turn they don’t attack, they’re gonna catch and your plan is not gonna work.

Also, if Froslass outspeeds the opponent’s Pokémon, don’t use Destiny Bond until she’s been knocked down to her Focus Sash. Then next turn use Destiny Bond and Froslass will be taking it’s opponent down with it.

Froslass can set up at least one pair of Spikes, two if she’s lucky and the opponent hasn’t attacked yet.

Hard to say really but it ultimately depends on the opponent she’s facing.
