Thanks! I wonder how he lost it in a bar fight? Whoever picked that Mutter's Kreuz would have been very lucky...

It's always nice to look at these German medals. But from time to time, we still have to look more closely at our wallets! hahaha These are quite an expensive collections!

That's true, I payed 75 euros for my golden mother cross with box! Thats a lot of money! Sometimes I spend like 200 euros a month on militaria stuff.

I am only a starter, collecting for 10 years also, but always been low on budget. Only seriously busy with collecting since September or so. There are still some things I want, especially some Hitlerjugend things, Dutch national socialist thingies and Legion Condor stuffs. And I can't agree more with you, this hobby is waaaaay to addicting. Sometimes I walk out the door and tell myself "Ok, you are only going to spend 15 euro. Nothing more.". And when I come home someone else has got my 100 euro. LOL.

well good luck to your collecting and i wish you will never said the same thing i said after 10 years!

How did you come to this Hobby.
Yes Google Translater helps me a lot to understand the navigation on this site to.
Whats the Price for the Figurs in your Country.
in germany those Figurs were 45 - 80 Euro.
Very much Money.
i think for 150 Euro you can buy a K98.
so its a hard price for the figures in my country.

"How did you come to this Hobby. "
growing up and watching all those war movies may have created in me the admiration of your soldats. while others kids used to play cowboys and indians, i remember playing with my friends germans and americans soldiers with fashioned cardboard boxes as german helmets! during ww2 to be honest, who's the best dressed soldiers? with great helmet and medals design, i think it's the german.
figures in my country cost about 5 to 6 thousand pisos. and that's the latest boxset cost. that's about 80 to 100 euro. but i don't usually buy boxset figures. i just bought parts of it like the uniforms, ammo pouches, medals, guns, helmet separately and customized/assembled it into one figure. lots of work than buying one in a boxset but it's quite cheaper and enjoyable.
150 euro for a k98? that's a good price! wish i have a k98, only got a mundlos k98 bayonet.

The Helmet Collection are very very good.
These collection i see only in the market in the near of her.
[link]
you see a few people sell big collections like that
Perhaps you can buy in kremes.de something to.
Yes if i wear a little boy we only play war
with figurs
or we are playing togther.
with wood rifels
Germans VS Americans or Sowjets.
And this was the only game we have.
i like it ^^
You can buy cheaper K98 from Argentinia for 115
A lot of Lands have after the war build the K98.
And now we can buy it.
K98 from Spanish, Croatia, Argentinia.
Or Austrian karabiner, the austrians have other inches between the german ons.
so the austrians are cheaper 150 euro to.

wow! i have never been to a place like that selling third reich items! if ever i will be there, i would surely leave my wallet behind. for sure, i could be spending a lot of money which i will regret later on! lol great link, thanks.
in my area, unlike europe or certain parts of south america, k98 is non-existent. maybe some very private collector. but i haven't seen a k98 here or seen a real one in my life. also, even if i could order it online, i will have a problem receiving this especially considering that this is a rifle. i might be charged with gun smuggling which is a very high crime here.
btw, medals on the links have their swastika covered, is this really how strict your government concerning swaztika symbols? even medals for display should have the swastika covered?
