did this a few years back to commemorate "blobfest", the weekend-long festival in neighboring phoenixville that celebrates this great old movie every year.why phoenixville? that's where the colonial (the theater that's featured in the blob) is located. it's still in operation.

man thats cool, the cut out figures really hit that 50's paranoia mood for me. how awesome to be used in conjunction with a festival that has an actual connection to the film!

yeah, i look forward to blobfest every year! they re-enact the "running out of the theater" scene every year. they fill the theater and then on cue, everyone comes out screaming. pretty funny.
