IT'S NEW STARTERS!

After some hard thought consideration, I realized that I didn't really like my starters. They were too hard to draw, which is a problem. Plus, they didn't really make sense. Webil and Co. will still have a special place in my heart, but not in my starter raster.

I love the Grass and Water ones.
EDIT: Changed the fire to make it less like sheildon, more like a rhino. It looks a bit different because I scanned in a new picture.

Savanmal (Suh-VAN-mal) Wild Grass Pokemon
Type: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Natural Cure (yes being a bit deviant here)
These Pokemon have excellent camoflauge that allow them to blend in with grasslands. Huddling in packs, it's hard to tell when a Savanmal ends and the grass begins

Rhyono (RIH-yo-no) Volcanic Rock Pokemon
Type: Fire/Rock (also being deviant here!)
Ability: Blaze/Mold Breaker
Rhyono are brash Pokemon but loyal to their trainers. The pads of their feet are covered in soot, and they are mostly found in volcanoes.

Harpup (HAR-pup) Seal Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent/Boom Box (sound type moves get STAB)
Harpup can use their ears to sense vibrations in the air and water. They are good swimmers and generally tame.

Savanmal is based of actual GRASS, but Savannah grass. Rhyono is based on rhinos, angular faces and volcanic rock. Harpup is based of Sirens and Harp Seals, the joke being on Harps = a type of instrument. I actually do not know what a harp seal looks like.
