not sure yet, I have a few back log of micros I want to put out. I need to rewatch some episodes to get his outfits right.

the regeneration was short because he used all the regeneration energy to destroy the Dalek ship

I still didn't like it. Plus apparently Matt Smith himself was disappointed, apparently they filmed darker and more emotional ones. I love an emotional regeneration. The whole episode was feeble. I hate Moffat sometimes.

I agree with the regeneration being too short! In my opinion, they should regenerated him into the 12th when he was at the top of that tower!

Yeah should have regenerated in the tower and have his first appearance in the Tardis with Clara.

Rather that than what we got. Maybe Clara should have been there and said all the final goodbyes and all that, and the reset should have happened there. What annoys me about the last two regenerations (although I loved End of Time) was that before regenerating they all had time to change their clothes. If you were about to die (or at least the current version of you) is that really the first thing you'd do? In fact I'd have done the entire episode different. I wouldn't have done this dying of old age thing, I wouldn't have had the doctor age at all. And there were far too many monsters for the story. The stupid Moffat multi monsters idea has worn pretty thing after being used in "The Pandorica Opens" and "A Good Man Goes to War". The Silence and the Daleks would have sufficed. In fact, I'd have had just the silence and have them as the villains trying to do evil stuff instead of the daleks and the silence fighting with the doctor. And I wouldn't have made the story last 500 years. The doctor would have stopped caring about Clara since then and he probably would get bored. I'd have had it last like a day or so like normal episodes. And instead of dying of old age (ironic as Smith is the youngest actor to portray the doctor), I would have just had him die in action while saving the day and then as the doctor is there dying, the timelords grant him a new regeneration cycle and he'd have regenerated.
Also, the whole course of the story could have been solved in five minutes instead of five hundred years. Think about it, what solved the story was the timelords giving the doctor a new regeneration cycle and blowing things up, and that's all that needed doing. Surely the timelords would have figured that out in no time, and Clara could have just asked them to do so at the beginning of the story instead of waiting 500 years in the doctors time-line.
Stupid episode, stupid Moffat.

The Doctor twice Regenerated due to old age, the first time was during his first incarnation in the Episode "The Tenth Planet" and the Second was of course when the War Doctor regenerated in "Day of the Doctor"

Yeah the bald thing was real, he shaved it all off. The regen I agree was too quick I wanted more.
I heard that the 12th doctor would be abit edwardian, could be interesting.
thanks for the comment

That was what I was thinking more McGann with maybe a hint of Hartnell

Indeed. I'd rather have a bit more Eccleston or Pertwee than Hartnel though. For some reason I just hate the first doctor.

I think it was canocal, because Clara said about him experimenting. but it seemed abit of a throw away scene just to get a tardis key and show off Matts hair or lack of hair. But it was never brought up again, and there was no mention of it again.

That scene where he was naked cracked me up!!! And I swear he looked so much like William Hartnell before he started regenerating.

You know, it was so heart-wrenching seeing him pull off his bowtie, that's how you knew it was really the end of Matt Smith's Tenure as The Doctor.

After that scene, does anyone else think that Capaldi might be the first doctor with top button swag? Just that it sort of suits him and I think Capaldi likes it as I've seen pictures with him wearing it.
