Well you certainly created some amusing photos with the plimsolls walking up and down stairs.

I too have found the Topman plimsolls to be surprisingly hard wearing, just a shame they are about £16 a pair.
A lot in your photos still look in quite good condition. I suspect you like them in good condition and change to a new pair quite early on.

I too have a fair number of old pairs of black plimsolls that I have worn to an office job which have be changed for a new pair after 4 months or so. They are in boxes too. They are all still quite wearable, but too scruffy for work. One day I'll get around to wearing them again.

I wonder what the charity shop will make of getting a load of black plimsolls from you which all look the same. I wonder if they will get the pairs mixed up !

I agree. Nice Collection. Interesting how all bar the new ones topleft are all similarly worn in. How long does it take you to wear them to this nice looking state.

I too have a few pairs of these, I note though they changed from being made in Vietnam to China. I prefer the softer more flexibe sole of the earlier pairs.

Yeah I agree and had noticed a chance, and I much preferred the softer sole too. Although I wasnt aware they went from being Made in Vietnam to being made in China. I tried buying ones from an army surplus store and ones from 'Schuh' but these for me have been the most comfortable and lasted the longest.

Ha yes the top left pair is the newest ones. I'm currently in the process of moving house and came across a cupboard full of them I thought before giving the older ones to charity I thought I could take a few shots with them see if I could get some interesting photos with them.

Haha thank you. No man should really own this many shoes?! Cant help when i'm in there buying another pair :/

lol, i have many more pairs of plimsolls in differing styles and colours, can't resist buying them
