Spider-woman/Jessica Drew. Pencil on 11x16 Bristol paper.I did this mainly as a study of form, using this excellent photograph ([link]) by *ABrito as reference as well as inspiration (you'll see what I mean).
however, i wanted the character in costume so I also tried here to render different fabric textures, and altered the lighting a bit.
in all this was a great learning exercise, and any advice and critique is, as always, appreciated.

thanks man. As I didn't have to work too much for the pose and anatomy etc (reference pic), I decided to really work on rendering the fabric of the costume, and material of the boots and gloves.

thanks! though I adjusted the pose a bit, the real credit goes to the photographer and model. but yes it is a different kind of pose for such a character and that's part of the reason I'm very proud of this one.
