Description Made in ArtRage 4 using pencil and airbrush tools; 8x10" 300ppi. Special request from a friend of mine to illustrate his original character according to his description of her. This was very fun to do

Thanks! I got an idea for the form of the dress from an antique crazy quilt dress, but even the sleeves were quilted and bordered with black lace (and it was full length), must have weighed a ton! This character's dress was specifically described as "from shoulder to knee". That patchwork is from a photo of an actual antique crazy quilt that reminded me of one my grandmother made for my parents. It had patches of real velvet and satin and other lovely bits of beauty. And all of it was intricately embroidered like this antique one. I couldn't resist
