Wonderful job with the braid. The cross-hatching you use for shading looks terrific. I'm more of a smudger myself. I like your style much more. Really great drawing.

Thank you so much! I do use some smudging (a cotton swab in this case), especially when working in graphite or charcoal on white paper, but the cross-hatching is made with a fairly hard lead so it doesn't completely smudge.
