Your work is very good, I enjoy a lot of your paintings, and this as well. The only thing that is off putting for me is the lack of reflection of the birds on the water surface. The birds feel like they are on the painting and not in the picture.

Wonderful use of impasto. I particularly like the way in which the clouds are built up, the texture of the sails. The three dimensional effect created by the thick paint used to built up the seagulls is also convincingly illusionistic.
