photo stocked byok, now that i'm awake (its 11am), i sat down and re-evaluated the original. i made a few changes that i think really enhance the feel of the electricity flying from her fingertips.... you can compare this with the original (which is still posted), and let me know what you think.

Wow, I really like the energy in this picture. The lightning looks amazing, and only adds to a pic that would have been good without any manipulation whatsoever. That girl is very easy on the eyes too

i really like this, you did a great job adding the lighting bolts from her finger tips, the lighting is nice, and i love the glow of her hands, i think you did a great job manipulating this stock

thanks! i'm so glad people like this one! i debated for a while whether it was worth submitting the original.... i finally did, and got such a good response from that one, that i was moved to amp it up a bit! keep watching for more!

i feel that the concept of this manip is quite stunning, and well executed. i'm reminded of some of those comic book heroines with amazing powers of light and energy.
i took a quick look at the original photo, and while her face is obscured by her thumb, i would have tried to keep her eye visible, as that would have created a great focus, in my opinion. also, maybe a slightly darker background.
the layering and colors that you've added are quite astonishing and give this a wonderful sense of depth and pulls the eye right into the subject.
you have an excellent visual style and the ability to execute with a distinctive flair and beauty i have not seen very often.

Gorgeous! Love that effect. I think you need to work on the background... Maybe a darker one might have helped emphasize the hands and their effects. Great work!
