I guess I am now officially on an emoticon kick! What can I say, these little guys are kinda fun to make!
I went with *Doubtful-Della to see "The Phantom of the Opera". Before any gay jokes start, I think you should all be aware it was her idea! Aside from all the opera, the movie was actually pretty good. So I thought I'd capitalize on this recent pop phenomenon (the movie), and make an emoticon of the Phantom.

very nicely done overall.
the flame on the candle looks good and does in fact look like its flickering. perhaps look into contrasting the mask and the actual face in the area between the eyes, they seem to blend together a bit too much, atleast to my eyes

no i seriously hate that musical. i really do. when i saw it on broadway, i thought there were too many unimportant scenes. some of the songs are beautiful & i prefer when brightman sings them. but i REALLY hate it now b/c my ex fiance was obcessed w/ it to the point that he drenched his face in gasoline & took a lighter to it (it didn't work b/c it was raining) b/c he wanted to be disfigured like the phantom. that's when he attempted suicide. i found him at the er drenched in gas, bloody, & oded on 300 tylonol. so, i could never watch it now. it has too many horrible thoughts attached to it.

Oh my lands child, does misery follow you around? I thought Josh and I were always followed by the demon's of misfortune (ie it seems like when we go somewhere, after we leave something terrible happens... so far there's been an earthquake, a flood, a forest fire, a ferry in NY that hit a peir, and a hurricane that hit Florida)
So yeah, now I can understand why you personally don't like it... and it's a sad loss, because it is a beautiful opera.... slow, yes, but that is good in a fast paced world

it sometimes seems misery does follow me. that's the 2nd guy who's cheated on me w/ a man afterall. but i think i'm coming to realize it will only get to me if i let it. over the years, i've been learning to let go & live my life regardless of what people do to me.
