Thank you so much for the wonderful picture of Sarek and Spock. I believe Sarek loved and was very proud of his son. But he tried not to let it show. Some people are complicated like that. Vulcans!

Considering Spock and Sarek's distant relationship in later years, this really is touching, the fact that Sarek would care for his infant son like that, yet be more and more disappointed in him as Spock grew older.

This is so beautiful. It almost reminds me of a fairy tale illustration. The details--like the blanket and the subtleties of Sarek's expression--are fantastic. The framing is wonderful as well. The whole thing has a really fantastic, soothing effect. It's excellent.
