The actual flag has been adopted in 3611 after the aquisition of the Lirchel Island (3134) and the Auterre (3611).
In the color vocabulary, the white represent purity and the dark blue mean nobility and severity
The white-dark red stripes with a green bar is the coat of arms of the Forensàc-Valmou family (royal familiy since 2821), the three Sea Lilies on blue field represent Lerrànd, Nor-Saulité and Auterre, possessions of the kingdom over the sea which government is represented with the white crown in dark blue field above.
