Description I''ve been waiting for ages for Orihime to fight and look badass.
Kubo didn't delivered yet. So I drew it.

I wish she would have done something over than being on her knees during the lust, that's why she looks like she just standed.

That's not true, there is Erza in Fairy Tail, Olivia Mira Armstrong in FMA, Rukia, Hiyori, there are quite numerous in One Piece also, my favourite being Kuina, but the shonen which I really do find sexist is Naruto @_@ Sakura is always a burden, Hinata is weak, Ino can't fight, Temari is badass but gets no screentime, Kushina is shown as strong but only to be outshined by the Fourth... It's rather depressing.

Indeed you're right C.C is a full fledged badass though I mean she drowned Jeremiah at the end of the first season knowing fully well she'd be crushed by the pressure when underwater and then have to wait for her body to be regenerated once it reaches the surface @_@ Now that's badass, at least as much as it is gross anyway ewww xD

omfg. I suppose I should been more thoughtful. You make a good point. I suppose I'm just get annoyed at Bleach because it seems that whenever a strong female comes along she is easily trumped by a male.

No problem girl ^^ Well I think Cutie Honey was the first ever to dare doing this (it was a jump manga if I remember correctly) but then again it is regarded as the first magical girl manga. So shonen with a girl as main character = magical girl manga, apparently. In Fairy Tail, the main character is female, but sadly she seems to fall into this trope as well : she only uses magical spirits to fight, is the weakest of the bunch, never kicks asses directly and her only weapon beside her spirits is a freaking whip. Fairy Tail can only be called a shonen because the focus often switch to Natsu and Erza, Natsu being the regular shonen guy with loads of potential à la Naruto/Ichigo. So yeah Fairy Tail kind of missed the point. But I am nontheless happy Erza even exists.

But then again I guess it's understandable, girls remain a periphery demographic among the readers, which are supposed to be young boys, do you so much as imagine young boys reading mangas about a girl ? It's just the same as asking them to play barbies. To apply to young boys, the hero must be a boy, otherwise the manga will just be ditched as a manga for sissies.

I guess Sailor Moon counts too, but bah! I just hope in this new arc Orihime actually fights more.

I don't know, just hope she's not depending on Ichigo all over again.
