Description
I got a model of this Ferrari of the net and revamped it so it could hold up at high rez. Spent about 3 days rebuilding the car & making the tires and another 3 days doing the shaders & lighting.Made in Maya and rendered using Mental Ray.
The full size render is 5000x3500
ll be putting up a wallpaper of this l8r.

it is incredible...!!... the angle, the lighting and those headlights!!!.... Could you tell me if they are texture only or they're modelled or postpro? cause they are kickass!!

Thank you for the advice. I have read a couple of tutorials but some just made me dizzy. It seems like they made it complicated. A friend of mine told me that in maya, perhaps I can start in a cube... then the rest will follow. I'll probably try that... Thanks again

WOW. i'm actually modeling a ferrari myself. but i'm doing it in blender.
the model is a ferrari 430 scuderia.

This is amazing. I love how simple and clean the curves are on the model and how you make them even cleaner and nicer with your lighting. I would be curious to see your lighting setup.

there was very little lighting in this scene. its mainly done with the shader using ramps to get the falloffs.
