Wow, I've loved it! How long did it take? It seems that you've drawn the tree using the acid, is it right?

Thanks! I drew it with a solution of sugar and water actually. When it dried a bit I coated the plate with varnish and let it dry, then I put it in boiling water so the sugar would melt and expose the copper. The rest is the acid's work.
Glad you like it, it's one of my personal favourites

In being simple there is so much that is not simple about this print. Amazing work.

Thanks! I hadn't checked this one in a while. Your comment made me want to go and look for the last print I have with me. Thanks for that

what is amazing in this work is that by using simple methods and not complicated figures and strokes you have created a mood which is not so easy to be forgotten (: every dot creates a detail but only in our minds and in our imagination. And I love that colour ^^

This is fantastic. It makes me wish I had the room to do some printing in my little apartment. Keep up that good work!

BTW, I have to thank my friend Felipe for letting me use his kitchen (and sugar) for this one. It ended up being aquite a messy place after a couple of hours.

Wow...the textures in this are so beautiful! I read about the techniques you used above...what a fascinating process!

Thank you!. The good thing about this process is that you can paint freely over the plate, and you can easily erase and start over as many times as you want aswell.
I'm really glad you like it. (and I like your work too )

IΒ΄m glad you like it.
This is a copper plate etching. I painted the tree right over the plate with sugar-saturated ink. Then applyed the soft ground and removed the ink with boiling water. The rest is the Nitric AcidΒ΄s work. IΒ΄m sure you can give it a try too.
