Hey everyone!
I hope you are all doing great today! Before writing anything about this drawing, I just want to tell my friends and watchers that I'm fine, just a bit overloaded with work since Monday... So, for the ones who sent me kind notes and the other ones: don't worry, I've barely had time to upload my drawings (I was 3 drawings ahead, so I could post without having time to draw), because I've had a loooooooot of lessons these last 3 days (with 2 students wanting last-minute help with their exam preparation) and a crazy timetable (I've also taken time to listen to a student/friend who needed to vent out all the negative things in her life atm and to a friend who is going through a complicated divorce process)... so I haven't commented much, haven't answered much, but I intend to catch up maybe later today if I'm not mentally dead, and from tomorrow on anyway, promise!

So, on my Inktober list, next to "coral", I had written "any graphic kind of coral" So I went to the IUCN website and typed "coral"... amazing how many species there are!! it was fascinating! After a while, I chose to draw this Venus Sea Fan coral, because I love how they look like magical trees The Venus Sea Fan (Gorgonia Flabellum, also called purple gorgonian sea fan) lives in the Western Atlantic Ocean and especially in the Bahamas; they can be creamy white or lavender, with flashy purple "trunks" and can grow to a height of 1.5 meters!

About the drawing: all the tiny parts took me ages to draw!!! it was really interesting, but incredibly long because I did all the lines one by one with pens, then filled all the tiny "branches" one by one with ink... I know I'm masochistic
