UpdateWOW!! My first DD.
This picture is flawed, I know it is...but this picture means a lot to me because the lighting was suggested by someone dear to me, and the background was created by someone dear to me. I wanted to make good use of both. The clothing is too big, I modified it from another character so it has issues.
Overall the scene represents a calm and mellow (me) who decided to relax and exhale on an imaginary beach after the passing of my Grandmother who will be buried Tuesday.
It means so much to me. Thank you for recommending me for a DD, I am truly honored.

Flawed, NOTHING! The is beautiful work, and I love it a lot-the innocence of the character sitting here on the beach in the manner shown is quite beautiful. Take a bow, and don't be so hard on yourself.

Your first DD is for me ( and many others I guess) a splendid work. It is nice , that fellow artists are assisting in a personal difficult period. I don't know the day when your Grandmother has passed, I hope I don't hurt you, now giving my condolences. Excuse me for faults in the English language/grammar( I am Dutch) . I wish you all the best and take good care of yourself.

Thank you Franz. She passed two years ago and then my mother passed a few months later. It has been very difficult but life goes on and my art helps me through sad days. I thank you for your kind and thoughtful words and for taking the time to comment.
