This is my Mer-Shark character Alonzo based off an AU of Lance from Voltron (but modified for a different setting, some history tweaks, different species etc.)

He's just turned 18, he used to be human but was put under a demonic curse and now he's a Mer-Shark. He's blind in his mer form and sees via sonar waves and other heightened senses. In human form he can see but needs special glasses otherwise everything is a indistinguishable blur.

He identifies as non-binary and bisexual but prefers to go by he/him pronouns. He's Cuban (like the original Lance) but speaks more Spanish than the original and is less brash in personality, having a more sweet nervous disposition. He tries very hard not to bite anyone because he's a good boy and he doesn't want to hurt anyone.

He is currently not-quite-dating a Keith owned by who is playing hard to get romantically, but he's nothing if not persistent and will get his man eventually

Background is sourced from a free stock site as are the pearls used in his hair but the rest is digitally painted by yours truly. The hardest part was trying to do the reflected shines to show the glow of his eyes.

I'm not going to credit Lance to the VLD staff because they've horribly abused him in canon with their awful writing and don't deserve this poor cute boy. So he's mine now. I've adopted him.
